• Built-in thermostat/actuator senses average room air via an induction chamber and venturi at the diffuser end.
• Wax-filled actuator expands on a rise in temperature to open blades; contracts as the room cools to close blades.
• In TL-CW models, a separate changeover thermostat senses supply air — supply above 80 °F opens blades for constant-volume heating.
• Properly applied TL units maintain room temperature within about ±1.5 °F (0.9 °C) of the selected setpoint.

• Sleek, slim linear profile with extruded aluminum construction and powder-coated visible surfaces.
• Precise damper and diffusion geometry for strong Coanda effect and no dumping at turndown.
• Continuous room-air sampling over the thermostat for accurate control across the full VAV range.

TL diffusers are supplied as complete linear VAV terminals with integrated thermostat/actuator and venturi induction. They are intended to replace portions of ceiling panels and are not designed to straddle T-bar grid.
