The function of an Energy Recovery Ventilator (ERV) is to continuously provide the code required quantity of outdoor air during occupancy, with uncompromised quality and in an energy efficient manner. The importance of the ERV is to reduce the workload on your HVAC system, saving energy and money.
The SEMCO FV (Fresh Air Ventilator) Series of outdoor air pre-conditioners have been specifically designed to reduce the energy required to heat or cool outdoor air by up to 80 percent. The FV pre-conditioner allows the HVAC system to effectively and economically accommodate the three-to-four-fold increase in outdoor air quantities, which is recommended by the ASHRAE Standard 62, Ventilation for Acceptable Indoor Air Quality. This unique capability allows both new and existing buildings to benefit from a healthy indoor environment. The FV Series is available with an airflow range of 600 to 10,000 CFM.

Designed for high-performance critical environments.
Precision environment control — Tight regulation of temperature and relative humidity ensures reliable operation of sensitive equipment, reduces risk of data loss or system failures and protects building occupants and critical assets.
High capacity, flexible configurations — Available for chilled-water or compressor-based cooling, with down-flow and up-flow air delivery options, calibrated for a wide variety of commercial/industrial spaces.
Advanced microprocessor control — The onboard controller supports full set-point programming, alarm monitoring, system diagnostics and optional BMS (Building Management System) integration (BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus).
Service- and maintenance-friendly design — Front-accessible control panel, easily removable panels, double drip-pans under chilled-water coils, and modular layout simplify routine servicing — helping reduce lifecycle cost and downtime.
Robust construction & longevity — With welded steel frame, insulated access doors and components built to operate 24/7/365, the System 2000 is built to perform over the long term in rigorous environments.
