ICC
Market-leading chimney and venting manufacturer — engineered solutions for condensing appliances, positive pressure flues, high-temperature industrial exhaust, and residential chimney systems. Built to perform in the harshest environments.
VIC — Condensing Vent System
ICC Model VIC is a tested and listed venting system for condensing and near-condensing appliances — suitable for Category I, II, III, and IV gas-fired appliances producing flue gas temperatures up to 550°F. Available in single wall, double wall, and insulated double wall configurations to match any installation condition. Listed to UL 1738 / ULC S636.
Lightweight single wall VIC for breeching and connecting multiple appliances. Ideal for interior installations where ambient temperatures stay above freezing.
- AL29-4C or type 444 stainless steel inner liner
- Silicone gasket — gas and water tight, no field sealant
- Locking band system — captive nut/bolt, no loose hardware
- Diameters 5″ through 24″
- Suited to interior breeching and horizontal runs
Double wall VIC improves heat retention in the flue, increases draft strength, and can reduce clearance to combustibles. Approved for both interior and exterior installations.
- AL29-4C or 444 SS inner liner — 430 SS outer casing
- Factory silicone gasket eliminates field-applied sealant
- Reduced clearance to combustibles vs. single wall
- Approved for interior and exterior installation
- Laser or Tungsten Arc butt-welded seams (5″–16″)
The insulated VIC is the optimal choice for exterior flue runs in cold climates. The insulated casing minimizes heat loss, promotes draft, and handles Canadian winter conditions reliably.
- Insulated outer casing — maximum draft in cold ambient
- AL29-4C or 444 SS liner — meets UL corrosion resistance
- 430 SS outer casing — exterior weather resistant
- Silicone gasket + locking bands — fast, secure assembly
- Available diameters 5″ through 24″
VIP+ — Positive Pressure Chimney System
VIP+ is ICC’s modular double wall chimney system engineered for positive pressure appliances — capable of containing pressure up to 60 inches of water column and operating continuously at temperatures up to 1400°F. The only listed system covering grease duct, high-temperature industrial exhaust, and positive pressure venting in a single modular platform.
VIP+ is the engineered solution for venting stationary engine exhaust from generators and turbines — handling positive pressure, high temperature, and corrosive exhaust conditions reliably.
- Rated to 1400°F continuous operating temperature
- Positive pressure rated — up to 60″ WC
- 304 or 316 SS inner liner options
- 304 SS, 316 SS, or Galvalume outer casing
- Diameters 6″ through 24″
Forced draft and induced draft boilers and furnaces with positive pressure exhaust conditions require a listed positive pressure venting system — VIP+ is engineered and listed for exactly this duty.
- Continuous butt-weld seam inner liner — tight tolerances
- Overlap resistance welded outer casing — gas and watertight
- Wall options: 1″ air cooled, 1″, 2″, or 4″ insulated
- Male-female overlapping joint — fast, sealed assembly
- Inner locking band pre-installed with sealant encapsulated
VIP+ is listed to UL 1978 for grease duct applications — providing a factory-built, insulated chimney alternative to field-fabricated grease duct for commercial kitchen exhaust systems.
- UL 1978 grease duct listed
- Zero clearance to combustibles demonstrated in ICC lab testing
- Modular assembly — faster than field-fabricated grease duct
- Available up to 36″ diameter for high-volume kitchen exhaust
- Insulated wall options contain heat — safe in combustible construction
EXCEL Series & Residential Chimneys
ICC’s residential chimney line covers every solid fuel, gas, and pellet application — from the EXCEL insulated stainless steel chimney for wood stoves to EXCELDirect for direct vent gas appliances and EXCELPellet setting a new standard for pellet vent. All products are engineered for fast installation and long-term reliability in residential construction.
ICC’s flagship residential chimney for wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. Insulated stainless steel construction for reliable draft and long service life in residential applications.
- Available in 5″, 6″, 7″ & 8″ diameters
- Insulated double wall stainless steel construction
